Note from Dan to his friends and fans:

I would like to thank all the people that supported my involvement with Country Music over the years, and especially my decision to finally get into the studio. This includes my wife Eileen, and sons Dale and Dean.  A special thanks to Dale, a fine musician and vocalist and part of a group called "UNWOUND", who consented to play bass on this CD. I would also like to thank Doug and Shirley Sinclair for their support over the years,  and for the opportunity to play my kind of music for almost 16 years as member of "Hi & Dri Country".  Thanks to Ralph Carlson, one of the Ottawa Valley's premiere Country Music and Bluegrass performers, for his reassurance and support of this project,  and for his involvement as the producer of this CD.

 

 

A little about Dan...

    Dan has been playing the music that he loves, "Country", for close to 45 years in and around the Ottawa Valley.  He has played with many well know musicians such as Ralph Carlson, Neville Wells, Merv Wilson,  Doug and Shirley Sinclair, Wilf Arsenault and Edie Thomas, to name a few.  Dan's love of country music doesn't only end with playing and singing. He has volunteered much his time to a charitable Country Music organization here in the Ottawa Valley.  Dan is an active Director/Treasurer of the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame, and has been for close to 12 years.  He is not only the treasurer,  but Dan is also the producer of the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony,  held annually in Ottawa at Centerpointe Theatre.
